Pensieri sparsi di un ramingo digitale

L'iPad è nato prima dell'iPhone. Steve Jobs racconta l'aneddoto al D8. Ecco un estratto del video (che trovate embeddato sotto):
I had this idea of being able to get rid of the keyboard, type on a multitouch glass display and I asked our folks: 'can we come up with a multitouch display that I can type on?' About six months later they called me in and showed me this prototype display. I gave it to one of our really brilliant UI folks and he called me back a few weeks later. When I saw the rubber band scrolling working and some other things, I thought, ‘my God, we can build a phone with this! And I put the tab project on a shelf because the phone was more important.
Alla faccia di chi ha detto (e continua a dire) che l'iPad è un iPhone più grande.
